Head trauma refers to injuries to the head otherwise known as TBI, traumatic brain injuries. The scope of damage TBIs cause to society is enormous, not only on the economic level, but also on the emotional level. Head trauma is one of the most serious types of injury, with practically 100% of severe trauma’s and upwards of 67% of moderate head injuries remaining disabled permanently.
